A New Routine
This project was birthed into this world due to the restrictions and limitations that the pandemic forced us all to accept. It is an ongoing documentation of Brian, an adult man with Down Syndrome whom I work with as an aide. As the virus surged and the death toll simultaneously soared, my job with Brian was the only constant in my life. With no one else to photograph, my lens quickly shifted towards Brian as I observed how he and I navigated this new routine that we had accepted. Recently, Brian had a near fatal bout with the virus. I now strive to document his road to recovery from the life altering affects of Covid-19.
